Prairie dogs
I've been researching about temperate grassland for a presentation during environmental science class. Temperate grassland is one the of biomes in the world that is usually semiarid, continental climate in the middle latitudes. Veldts of South Africa, Puszta of Hungary, Pampas of Argentina, Steepes of Russia, plains and prairies of North America are all example of temperate grassland. While researching, I found this cute species called prairie dogs. They are sooo cute that look absolutely not like dogs I expected.
